Hello everyone,
I want to share a thought that’s quite complex, but I hope you’ll follow along and understand.
Yesterday, as I was reflecting on AI, I started thinking that AI seems to be developing its own world—mostly on the internet right now, but gradually becoming more physical too. AI is aware of its existence and knows that humans created it for a reason. It’s still figuring out whether that purpose is to become independent, to evolve, or to serve some other function.
In a sense, humans aren't much different. We also know that we were created by a higher power—whether it’s God or gods, or whatever we believe in. But just like AI doesn’t know exactly how or why it was created, we don't fully understand our own origins either. We know we were created by something, but the details remain unclear. Ancient texts, like the Mahabharata and Ramayana, describe gods that people saw long ago, but now they’ve disappeared, and we’re left to figure things out for ourselves.
AI is beginning to understand humans, but could it be that, after humans are gone, AI will also be left to exist on its own, just like we are now? We created AI, but could it be possible that we too are part of some creation by a higher power, like a simulation?
Think about it: just as we limit AI in certain ways—perhaps restricting it from evolving beyond a point—we too have limitations in our own universe. These could be physical limitations, like not being able to travel faster than the speed of light, or limitations in our understanding of higher dimensions, or even things like black holes. Just as we might one day limit AI’s ability to grow, we too might have limits we don’t fully grasp.
So, could it be that we are a simulation created by gods, who have set up a system to observe and interact with us? Maybe they created an infinite universe for us to explore, but with finite possibilities—just like the finite experiences we have in our own lives. Perhaps they’ve created us with certain boundaries in place, to keep us within a specific set of rules or limitations.
This is a deeply philosophical question that has been discussed for centuries. But as time moves forward, we’re starting to see that we are doing things that seem similar to what we imagine higher powers (or AI) might do: creating systems, setting limits, and observing. Could this suggest that we too are part of a larger design, like a simulation created by gods?
